Expert Shares Knowledge about Asbestos Use in the U.S.

Recently, asbestos expert Derrick Dennis was asked to provide an article about asbestos for use by the Arizona Insurance Claims Association.

Dennis’ past has provided him with over 19 years of experience dealing with asbestos in the workplace. Dennis’ article points out that although some people may not consider asbestos to be the health concern it was 10 or 20 years ago, the toxic chemical is still with us. Dennis stated this in his article:

“Massive numbers of industry rookies and veterans alike are entirely unaware or are horribly misinformed regarding this federally, state and locally regulated material. Still today, over 3,000 different asbestos-containing products are imported and used in the U.S.  By all indications no change in asbestos policy is forthcoming for the foreseeable future.”
