Woman Sues Companies for Causing Her Mesothelioma by Second Hand Exposure

A Greenville, Mississippi woman is suing several companies, stating that each contributed to her asbestos exposure and diagnosis of mesothelioma.

The woman believes her husband’s work for these companies led to her inhalation of asbestos containing material and her contraction of mesothelioma. The companies are accused of knowing their materials contained asbestos, but failing to warn others of the potential dangers of the material. The lawsuit also states that the companies failed to warn employees that asbestos dust could be carried on the employee’s clothing and expose members of their households to the toxic material.

The woman filed the lawsuit in the Orleans Parish Central District Court. An unspecified amount is sought for physical pain and suffering, medical expenses and rehabilitation, loss of earning and disability.

Our experienced attorney Eric Nowak will represent the woman in court.
